Pelvic Floor PT

A pelvic floor evaluation (75 min) and follow up treatments (55 min) may include:
An internal & external vaginal / rectal examination. *This examination is always performed with your consent and is not always required. We are happy to answer any questions you may have beforehand. Sexual Health Counseling
We can all agree that sexual education is not the best and we are all trying to figure ourselves out through our life seasons.
This is a comprehensive sexual education and assessment catered to your needs, wants and environment. The purpose of this session is to help you identify, discover and improve the potential challenge in your sexual relationship with yourself and/or your partner(s) while giving you specific direction and techniques to improve your sexual function.
It is important to note that sexual health counseling DOES NOT take the place of sex therapy (can only be provided by a licensed mental health provider); which is focused on addressing the psychological and emotional factors that are driving your sexual challenges and will never involve a physical assessment.
Examples of what we can work on:
-
Problem solving specific barriers: libido, arousal and physical restrictions.
-
Understanding and figuring out yours or your partner (s) needs + wants.
-
How to have hard conversations.
-
How to explore new territory with your sexual experiences.
-
How to incorporate intimacy.
