In January 2022, Alyssa went to Kenya to volunteer through the company IVHQ on a special needs care project. She originally thought that she would make a huge impact on the kids she was working with, not knowing that they would also make an impact on her.
The word "Asante" in Swahili means "thank you" or "to appreciate".
Giving back to those in need will always hold near and dear to her heart. Alyssa has created a donation page dedicated to funding the building of a Kenyan school as well as the feeding programs for the children attending the school.
